Arie Verveen was born and raised in Ireland, his mother Irish, his father Dutch. He most recently stars in BOILER MAKER '09 with John Savage, NO FURY '09, ACROSS THE HALL '09 with Brittany Murphy and DEAD BONES '09 for Swiss director Olivier Beguin. Verveen’s accomplished list of movies and directors he has collaborated with include Terrence Malick (The Thin Red Line), Robert Rodriguez - Frank Miller (Sin City), Guy Ritchie (Suspect), Eli Roth (Cabin Fever), Sergei Bodrov (Running Free) and Robert M. Young (Caught). These and other films have landed Verveen in the company of many renowned actors. He has received an Independent Spirit Award Nomination, a Golden Satellite Award, and notable critical acclaim, for his artistry. |
